True, the scientific method is indeed one application of critical thinking. To adjust a hypothesis, the scientist(s) that conducted an experiment must review the results based on facts. Although it cannot be biased, critical thinking can be used to judge if an experiment's results are inaccurate, and then the scientist(s) can redo it to figure out if there were any initial errors.

I believe the correct answer is true. The scientific method is one application of critical thinking. Critical thinking is the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication. In scientific, all of whixh being mentioned are done. So, it should be the application. Hope this helps.
