Use slope formula:
m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1)
-4, -2 are your x1 and y1
8, -10 are your x2 and y2
y2-y1 = -10 - (-2) = -10 + 2 = -8
x2-x1 = 8 - (-4) = 8 + 4 = 12
-8/12 = -2/3
