1. The main purpose of an allegory is to use characters and create situations with metaphorical meanings. Allegory is just a longer metaphor that can be spread throughout a whole poem or a novel.
2. In the story The Black Sheep the point of view can best be identified as objective. An objective point of view is impersonal, whereas subjective is quite personal and according to the feelings of the narrator.
