Hammurabi was a ruler of Ancient Babylon from 1792 to 1750 BC, almost 3,800 years ago. Yet, as long ago as he ruled, he made something that lasted the test of time: his code of laws. He created laws protecting women, laws on property, and laws on personal injury.
