during the assessment, Sal can analyze the things that influence it and the tactics that he can implement to reduce or completely eliminate it. But this is not the most important part.

The most important part is to be disciplined/consistent when making the change. Sal need to ensure that he did not reverted back to his old ways and undo all of the changes.
