Sir Thomas More is the 16th century European humanist who wrote Utopia.

He wrote this socio-political satire in Latin in 1516. The book portrays a society living in an islands and its customs in terms of religion, social and political. With this books he describes the political system of such island.

The author, Thomas More, also known as Saint Thomas More was an English lawyer, social philosopher, statesman, and significant Renaissance humanist.
