What is the truth in this myth: The Native Americans the pilgrims encountered lived in tipis and traveled on horseback?

I really don't think this is a myth, it is somewhat true. The Indians became friends with the pilgrim people they all are together and then exchanged gifts with on another. There was also an Indian lady who translated for the Indian people she spoke English.
