I pregnant women should avoid drinking for many reasons,the first one that the fetus is connected to the mother through the umbilical cord which means that everything that the mother takes so does the fetus which can cause it to be born with problems like fetal alcohol syndrome which affects the baby's ability to learn and affect other brain functions.
