Fast moving water lead to greater erosion than slow moving water because the fast moving water has more force and ability to Wash away the soils and minerals leading to greater erosion. And on the slow moving body vice versa. Hope it helps u.

because the amount of pressure and force the water is putting on the earth is stronger when it is moving faster
