A polynomial function is a relation between one variable to another variable with some restrictions to limit its behavior. In simpler terms, a polynomial function is simply a subset of functions altogether. Polynomial functions are special in that they contain zero discontinuities in their behavior, have distinct features have end behaviors that approach infinity. These functions are excellent for demonstrating real life situations, such as banking trends.
