How did life on the North and South American continents change after the land bridge formed?

Human life did not exist in the Americas until the land bridge between North America and Asia was formed during the Ice Age.

People from East Asia then followed their food source across the land bridge and settled in the Americas.

They eventually adapted and evolved, thus becoming what we know as Native Americans.
