No, honey doesn’t contain starch. Honey is the mixture of sugars in the seeds, fruits, tubers, roots, and stems of many plants. Corn, potatoes, wheat, and rice all have high starch content. Starch is part of the carbohydrate group of nutrients, and carbohydrates are a major energy source in a person that bees produce from plant of other sugars and minute, vitamins, minerals and enzymes.
