How can I divide larger dividends.

When dividing a decimal by a whole number, we use the following procedure: Estimate the quotient. Remember to place a zero in the quotient when the divisor is larger than the dividend. Check your answer: Multiply the divisor by the quotient to see if you get the dividend.

You can add a decimal point at the end of number then zero. Example....
2.40
