Climate change affects a number of variables that determine how much plants can grow. And extreme temperatures, a decrease in water availability and changes to soil conditions will make it more difficult for plants to grow.

climate affect vegetation by the fact you can only grow things in the summer because the cold doesn't allow anything to grow
