You would place it Before the verb is introduced.

Example looks like so:
She graciously ate you dinner at the restaurant.
Adverb:graciously
Verb: ate

The loud boy strongly yelled at his parents.
Adverb: strongly
Verb: yelled

Hope this helps. c:

If an adverb modifies a verb, generally you should place it before the verb. If there is a helping verb you can place it between the helping verb and the main verb.
