What is the least common multiple (lcm) of 4 and 6?

'll help you so you have 4 and 6. 4 is 2×2 and 6 is 3×2 so the lcm is 12 because if you multiply. 2×2=4×3=12

Start out by looking for the prime factors of BOTH numbers (4,6)

2*2=4

2*3=6

2^2*3^1=12
12 is the LCM
