Recent figures show an increase in violent crime among youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologists claim that the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting the social and emotional learning they need from parents and teachers.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Since the question at hand is more of an opinionated question, I can share my viewpoint. What makes this better is that I actually did a research paper on juvenile delinquents. Studies have proven that teenage crime has risen in the past 20 years more than ever, but (here is the rebuttal) while home influences may affect behavior of adolescents, the mind evolves every day and it is solely up to them on the decisions they make. Deeper research can be used to support your argument. (articles written by valid or well-respected evaluators can bring great credibility to your topic)
