One of the largest pumpkins ever grown Weighed about 3/4 ton. How many pounds did the pumpkin weigh?Did you use a unit rate or proportion? Explain.

The pumpkin weighs about 1,500 pounds. To do this, I set up the unit rate of 2,000 pounds in a ton, and multiplied it by 3/4, .75 and got 1,500
