Why do the passenger molecules need to be helped by the carrier molecule? (carrier molecule being the molecule in a cell that helps a normal molecule (passenger molecule) inside the cell).

Some molecules can't go through the cell membrane.

Some molecules can't pass alone and they need help because they can't pass through the cell membrane without help
