What is the 14th term for the geometric sequence 8, -16, 32, -64,

here we go


an=a1(r^(n-1))
a1=first term
r=common ratio
n=which term

common ratio is -2 (8 times -2=-16, -16*-2=32)
first term is 8
n is 14

a14=8*(-2)^(14-1)
a14=8*(2)^13
a14=8*(-8192)
a14=-65536
