Why do animals that live in the Artic ocean have so much blubber

They have so much blubber so it protects their skin and so they do not get sooo cold.And that is also why their skin is white.

The Blubber allows for the animal to heat itself up in the cold. Especially the ones that enter the water tend to have more blubber
