Why is the concept of homeostasis meaningful in the study of human biology

It maintains regulates and balance in the body. If Homeostasis does not function properly it can cause a destruction of the body system. It helps the body regulate temperature, get rid of wastes and absorb nutrients which sustains life.

Homeostasis is important in the means of human biology because it regulates and maintains the body's resting temperature and keeps it that way. We sweat to cool off and shiver to generate heat, both are triggered by your body's natural reaction to outside temperatures to maintain the body's internal state.
