"Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally" , {Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction} but in the UK they say BODMAS (Brackets,Orders,Divide,Multiply,Add,Subtract)


not saying the guy over me is wrong but this might help to

It depends. If the question says 'Divide 8 by 2' then you divide 8 by 2 or 8/2 = 4.

Or if it says to 'Multiply 12 by 3' then you multiply 12 by 3 or 12 * 3 = 36.
