ration 1:2:5 then 1+2+5 = 8
you would divide 240 equally to 8
240/8 = 30

first share: 30
2nd share: 30*2 = 60
3rd share: 30 *5 = 150

Double check: 30 +60 + 150 = 240

Divide 240kg into the ratio 1 : 2 : 5
