A woman in Alabama is being denied the ability to get an abortion. The state of Alabama is citing religious reasons as to why they refuse to allow women in the state to receive abortions. The woman decided to take the state of Alabama to court in order to gain her right to an abortion. It made it all the way to the Supreme Court where the Supreme COurt decided the woman had the full right to receive an abortion in the state becasue the Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade stated that a woman's right to receive an abortion is protected under the Constitution.
