2(8u+2)=3(2u-7)
distribute using distributive proeprty
16u+4=6u-21
minus 6u from both sides (subtraction property of equality)
10u+4=0-21
addative inverse
10u+4=-21
zero addition property
10u+4=-21
minus 4 from both sides (subtraction property of equality)
10u+0=-25
addative inverse
10u=-25
zero addition property
10u=-25
divide both sides by 10 (division property of equality)
1u=-5/2
identity property of addition
u=-5/2
one muliplication identiy


u=-5/2
