How do you find the slope of y=-x+6? And how do you find the slope for x+y=20?

If there isn't a number in front of the 'x' it will be a 1, so for this first problem the slope is - 1 because of the negative sign in front of it. And as for the other problem subtract the 'x' to the other side so it would be 'y=-x+20' and that slope will just be negative one.
