The Russian Revolution represented several revolutions in 1917. The first played in February when Tsar Nicholas gave up the throne and a provisional government was established together with community assemblies called "Soviets". Later, during the October Revolution Soviets collapsed a provisional government. Soviets were made mainly of urban working class, soldiers and representatives of the army, which contributed to Russia's policy when the WWI was in question. February Revolution happened as a result of Russia's failure in the WWI, and caused a rebellion among the army.
