The first elections were voted on orally. Why might have the country moved away from this method of voting? Select all that apply. the lack of secrecy peer pressure to vote a certain way it was hard to get enough voters to the polls the judge had a hard time figuring out who had voted and who might have voted twice the candidates knew who voted for them

The correct answers should be:
1. the lack of secrecy
2. peer pressure to vote a certain way
3. the candidates knew who voted for them

If the candidates know then corruption exists because they know if the person voted for them and who they should reward. The lack of secrecy can lead to blackmail and extortion and forcing people to vote for each other.
