it creates conflict because competition in my opinion is one vs another and there can only be one winner
and your attitude affects it to because you want to show that you can do it

When competing people can sink to low levels to win.
Many people dislike competition which will make many people have bad experiences.
They push us to our extremes and can also bring us to new lows.
To compete in positive ways it depends on the person and this can change for many people.
