At the end of transcription, all RNA molecules needed for later stages of protein synthesis are made. This includes mRNA, tRNA and rRNA. The mRNA molecule acting as a blueprint for the genetic construction of a specific protein from the encoded information obtained from transcribing a segment of DNA is more or less the main event occurring in transcription.
