I'm having trouble showing my work for23 divided by 3

The answer is 3R2 by long division because 7×3=21 and you subtract that from 23 eaquls 2.Then on the top of the long division sign you put 7R2 or if it's decimal number it will be 7.2 because you pop out the decimal and put it on top

well we know that 3 times 7 is 21 so the answer is about 7 and 2/3 or 7.666666
(2/3is about 66/100)

to show your work, you use long division which I am not able to show here
