Rational number: A number is said to be rational, if it is in the form of p/q. Where p and q are integer and denominator is not equal to 0.

Venn diagram is structured with nested circles.

From the above definitions we can observe that whole numbers are the subset of integers, so the circle of whole number will completely inside the larger circle for the integer.

Similarly, integers are the subset of rational numbers, so the circle of integers will completely inside the larger circle for the rational number.
