Scientific notation is the way that scientists easily handle very large numbers or very small numbers. For example, instead of writing 0.0000000056, you write 5.6 x 10-9.

no I don't believe that is scientific notations,

and here is why,

the definition of scientific notations is writing a small or a bigger number into a smaller form. basically sorry this is the definition in my head. it's hard to explain but the scientific notation of your question (9.32x10^3)(3.32x10^2) would be

3.09424x10^6
