Answer: A dislike for anything new or unfamiliar is called as Neophobia.

This is derived from a Greek word, 'Neos' which means New and 'Phobos' which means Fear. Thus, it represents fear of anything new. It includes those people who are unwilling to try anything new. It is unreasonable and causes avoidance as people dislike trying anything new. It can be in terms of any object or situation.

For instance, some people are very specific to food. They don't like trying new food. Thus, they can be called as Neophobic for food.
