Dr reilly has a patient who asks her about atherosclerosis

the patient explains that when he/she does exercise causes, he/she feels pain in the leg. Also has difficulty while having an erection, as well has trouble healing a wound over time.

Atherosclerosis is characterized by the deposition of lipids consist primarily of plaque (called atheroma) in the wall of the arteries. Ultimately, these plaques can cause the lesion to the arterial wall (sclerosis), lead to obstruction of the vessel, or rupture, often with dramatic consequences.
