Other important towns and cities to New England colonies

Industrialy, Boston was the only imortant exporting and importing city in New England. Outside of NE were New York, Charestown, and Philadelphia. Despite this, only about 5% of colonized people lived in metropolitan areas.

Then of course there are cities such as Concord and Lexington that were important cities because of the battles fought.
