From your working definition of "language," is the commonly referred-to concept of "sign language" really a language? Why or why not? Answer in complete sentences.

Yes, sign language is a way to communicate just like english. Sign language is also something that can be translated like french to english, while there may be multiple forums of it. Sign language is still considered a language.
