10^1=10

10^2=100

10^3=1000

10^4=10,000

The power multiplies the number by itself the number of the power. When multiplying 10 to the power of any number, just make the number of 0's in the final number equal to the exponent.

10^34 will be a 1 with 34 zeros on the end.
