Explain how to write 50,000 using exponents

take the 0 and put one exponents for eatch zero

The base number is going to 10 because that is what you are multiplying by and because 10 is the number you started with. The exponent is going to be 5 because that is how many zeros you have. So 10^5, or 10 x 10 x 10 x 10,
Or 5^10
