4x - 7 < 5 which is not a solution to the inequality

First you want to subtract 7 from both sides. On the left, it cancels out, so you're just left with 4x. On the right, your left with -2. Then, you divide 4 on both sides. On the left, it cancels out, and on the right it leaves you with 0.5. Anything below 0.5 (for ex 0, 0.25) would be correct. Anything above will be incorrect. Hope this helped!!
