miles per second
8mi/1sec
60sec per hour
every 60 sec is 1 minute
sec times 1/60=mins
times the bottom by 60 so that it can be counted as 1 minute
remembe rto do th same to top and bottom
(60/60) times 8mi/1sec=480mi/60sec=480mi/1min
480mi per min
4 minutes
480mi times 4=1920mi in 4 mins

Since there's 60 seconds in a minute, it travels at 8*60=480 miles/minute. In four minutes it will travel 4*480=1920 miles.
