The social theory that I choose to explain crime is the Social Disorganization Theory.

This theory states that the social and physical environment affect the conduct of people. If the environment is a negative one, the individual is prone to act in negative ways. If this person lives in a negative environment, in poor family conditions, has no education, the neighborhood it lives in is low class and people are mean, this person probably will develop criminal conduct.
