0.5 (with no line) is the same as 0.5000...(u can add as many zeros as u want)

0.5 (with the line) means the 5 is repeating...so it is 0.5555

0.5555 is greater then 0.5000

How are 0.5 and 0.5(have a parallel line on top of five) different? whose greater?
