Human sperm cell is the male reproductive cell that is produced during the process of spermatogenesis ( process of gamete formation in males) in the seminiferous tubule within testes (male reproductive organ).

They are haploid cell as they contain half the number of chromosome ( 23 chromosomes) as compared to the parent cell ( which are diploid that is having 46 chromosomes).

Sperm fuse egg and form diploid zygote and the process is called fertilization.
