Immigration is the moving of people from one country to another.

An immigrant can become a US citizen through a process called naturalization . However, to become a citizen, an immigrants must be able to speak, read, write and understand English (in this case). Before an individual applies for naturalization he/she must meet a few requirements: be a permanent resident , be at least 18 years old, have a basic understanding of U.S. history and government etc.
