In part two of Trifles, how does the image of the dead bird wrapped in a silk cloth strengthen the feminist theme that women often suffer abuses within a male-dominated society?

The dead bird was the only thing that represented freedom and life for the oppressed and neglected wife. The moment when her husband killed the bird is the moment when she realized that her life ended and that she would never be free again.
