To answer the question above, take note of the relationship between the square of the longest side to that of the sum of the square of the two shorter sides.
a² + b² _ c²
24² + 32² = 1600 ; 40² = 1600
Since they are equal, the triangle formed is a right triangle.

3, 4, 5,
The 3 , 4, 5 reminds of the Pythagorean triple, which is a right angled triangle.
So a triangle with sides 24, 32, 40 is a right angled triangle.
