Give an example of a limiting factor. Describe in detail how this factor limits population growth.

There are two types of limiting factors, density dependent and density independent. An example of a density dependent limiting factor is predation. It limits population growth with a high density population, because its easier for predators to "limit a population" (eat more animals) when the population is higher.
