Describe the transfer of energy from the glucose in food, to ATP, to a cell’s movement and other functions.

- Food Eaten

- Glucose contained in the food broken down in glycolysis which resulted in acetyl coa

- then it enters the TCA cycle

- the substance oxidized by electron transport chain

- Mitochondria produce proton gradient that allow the production of atp

Whenever the food is eaten, the glucose within the food gets broken down via the process of glycolysis. Actyl COA is the product that gets formed due to glycolysis. After this it enters the TCA cycle.The Mitochondria  actually produces the proton gradient that produces the ATP. I hope that this answer has come to your help.
